The organizers take extensive preparatory work to receive rally and rallysprint drivers on June 8 and 9 as well as anyone carsport fan by the highest standards. The organizers hope there will be in the rally this year about 130 participants. This means the rally „Madona 2012” will be one of the most represented carsport event in Latvia this year.

Ms. Liene Apšvalka, a member of the organizer team, says the organizer has present for drivers the dessert because 60% from the rally „Madona 2012” route is created with completely new Special Stages.

Rally „Madona 2012” will be at the same time also the Estonian Rally Championship event, therefore by participants this rally will be one of the best Latvian rally championship event.

The organizer reminds before the June 7 in Madona and neighbourhood “forbidden territories” are announced. It is forbidden to drive on this roads for drivers who plan to start in the rally. Both pilot and co-pilot is forbidden to drive in the neighbourhood of Arona, Bērzaune, Kalsnava, Mārciena and Lazdona. The organizer of the rally „Madona 2012” look forward to drivers integrity and they will comply with the prohibition.

For all interested persons are available rally „Madona 2012” official documents on the rally web site www.rallymadona.lv and www.autorally.lv. The representatives of the media can on the rally „Madona 2012” official web site – www.rallymadona.lv can begin to apply for the accreditation. Accreditation will be closed June 6.

The rally in the neighbourhood of City Madona had in the previous years very large number of visitors. Last year the rally was for all fans free and the number of visitors were at least 20-30 thousend.
