Latvian Rally Championship crews will also compete in Tet Rally Liepāja
Alongside event of the 2022 FIA European Rally Championship, Tet Rally Liepāja will also give grounds to second round of the 2022 Latvian Rally Championship. On July 2, 37 crews will start their six special stages long challenge around Talsi region, with fast and experienced Latvian crews being mixed-up with skilled guests and youngsters from abroad taking their first rally steps.

Entries for Tet Rally Liepāja revealed
The 2022 FIA European Rally Championship round 5 Tet Rally Liepāja will feature 50 crews, including leaders of the European championship, former WRC rally winner Hayden Paddon and talented local rally driver Mārtiņš Sesks. In total 23 countries shall be represented on special stages, including likes of Australia, New Zealand, and Argentina. Tet Rally Liepāja in Talsi and Dienvidkurzeme regions will take place on July 1-3.

Mārtiņš Sesks switches to faster car ahead of Tet Rally Liepāja
Latvian crew of driver Mārtiņš Sesks and co-driver Renārs Francis has made a move from Kit-car to Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo ahead of Tet Rally Liepāja, Round 5 of the 2022 FIA European Rally Championship, so to ensure the crew an advantage in the battle for the podium finish.

Tet becomes general sponsor of Rally Liepāja
Technology company Tet and organiser of international motorsport competitions RA Events have agreed on partnership, combining the ideas and resources of both in order to promote further growth of the FIA European Rally Championship event in Latvia. With Tet becoming the general sponsor of the rally, the name of the competition will be Tet Rally Liepāja. Round 5 of the 2022 FIA European Rally Championship in Latvia, Talsi and Dienvidkurzeme regions, will take place on July 1-3.

Rally Liepāja tickets now available
Ticket sales has begun today for Rally Liepāja, round of the 2022 FIA European Rally Championship. At the very start of the sales period, a special offer is available for all the spectators – only until the end of April, a ticket for 20 euros will give you full access to the special stages that will take place around Talsi region on Saturday, July 2, and Dienvidkurzeme region on Sunday, July 3. Kids up to 10 years of age are allowed a free entrance, while juniors aged from 11 to 17 will receive a discount throughout the sales period.

Calendar of the 2022 Latvian Rally Championship amended
Taking into account request submitted by SIA RA Events, Rally Commission of Latvian Automobile Federation (LAF) on 19 April 2022 made a unanimous e-vote decision to approve a proposal laid out in the request and amend Appendix 1 of the 2022 Latvian Rally Championship Regulations, rescheduling running of the second event "Rally Liepāja" to July 2, with special stages organised in Talsi Region.
