On Saturday It Will Be Possible to See All Stages of the Day
On 18th and 19th May Talsi will host the 4th round of the Latvian Rally Championship — the Rally Talsi. Its programme will once again include the special city stage— the Talsi City Special — that is so popular among the spectators and with the distance of 4 km will allow sportsmen to get acquainted with the most wily and complicated turns of the city.

Four Crews Will Compete for the Rally Talsi Champions’ Challenge Cup
During the Rally Talsi or the Rally of Champions held on 18th and 19th May four crews will compete for the Champions’ Challenge Cup — the Slovak Tomáš Ondrej, the Estonian Rainer Aus, the Lithuanian Domynikas Butvilas and the Russian Grigoriy Tregubov.

Estonian Ott Tänak Back in Competition
Participation in the Rally Talsi has been confirmed by one of the fastest Estonian drivers Ott Tänak, who during his career among others has started in 29 rounds of the World Rally Championship (WRC) and plans to participate in the Rally Talsi with the N4 group Subaru Impreza car.

Haralds Šlēgelmilhs Swaps Formula Bolide for Rally Car
Participation in the Rally Talsi has been confirmed by one of the fastest Latvian Formula drivers Haralds Šlēgelmilhs, who in the Rally will represent the Mogo.lv Rally Team with the S2000 class car and already during his rally debut, will strive for the highest results.

Timing of Rally Talsi changed, event will be held on 18th and 19th May
Timing of the Rally Talsi that for five years already is known as the Rally of Champions has been changed to the traditional holiday format. Despite the previously given information the Rally Talsi will start on Saturday, 18th May, and will conclude on Sunday, 19th May, with the Awarding Ceremony by the Talsi Culture House.

Talsi to host the Rally of Champions also in 2013
For the organizers of the "Rally Talsi" the end of the year has turned out to be full of surprises. Only in November the Latvian Automobile Federation for the first time since foundation of the "Rally Talsi" 40 years ago acknowledged that it is the best rally in the season 2012, and recently "Rally Talsi" was included in the 2013 Latvian Rally Championship calendar.
