Exception to the tyre regulations for participation in the rally “Lõuna-Eesti”

The following tyre regulations exception has been made to competitors, who have already (before the rally “Lõuna-Eesti” scheduled for 3-4 July 2026) participated in the Latvian Rally Championship or the Estonian Rally Championship, and has scored points in both championships. The exception is made to allow competiotrs score points in both the Latvian Rally Championship and the Estonian Rally Championship during the rally “Lõuna-Eesti” taking place in Estonia.

Excerpt from Bulletin No.1:

7.1 PERMITTED TIRES

7.1.1.1 Competitors participating in the Latvian or Estonian Rally Championships who have scored points in both the 2026 Latvian and Estonian Rally Championships may use either Pirelli or MRF tyres, provided that the tyres comply with either the Latvian Rally Championship regulations or the Estonian Rally Championship regulations. For competitors participating in the Estonian Rally Championship classification, the total number of tyres used must comply with Article 7.1.1 of the South Estonia Rally Supplementary Regulations (maximum of 8 tyres).

7.1.1.2 This exception applies only to competitors who have scored points in both the Latvian and Estonian Rally Championships and does not extend to competitors who have not previously scored points in either the Latvian or Estonian Championship during the 2026 season.

7.1.1.3 Competitors covered by this exception must use only one tyre brand (either MRF or Pirelli) throughout the entire event. The use of tyres from different manufacturers during the event is not permitted.
