Two winter rallies to kickstart the 2027 Latvian Rally Championship
Rally Commission of the Latvian Automobile Federation (LAF) has approved the dates for the winter rounds of the 2027 Latvian Rally Championship. The next season will begin on January 22-23, when the first round of 2027 – rally “Alūksne” – will take place in Alūksne and its surroundings. Meanwhile, the second round of the new season – rally “Sarma” – will take place in Gulbene and its surroundings on February 5-6.

Mārtiņš Sesks MRF Tyres Junior Challenge adds minirally “Ērgļi” to its 2026 Calendar
Rally Commission and Standard Car Commission of the Latvian Automobile Federation (LAF) have extended its cooperation; thus, minirally “Ērgļi”, scheduled for September 26, was included in the 2026 calendar of the Mārtiņš Sesks MRF Tyres Junior Challenge – a support and development program for young rally drivers.

At the end of the Latvian Rally Championship – rallysprint “Latvija”
The Rally Commission of the Latvian Automobile Federation (LAF) has made a decision to approve the rallysprint “Latvija”, a reserve round of the season, in the 2026 Latvian Rally Championship calendar. The sporting route of the rallysprint is set to include both gravel and asphalt special stages. The LAF Rally Commission has also simultaneously approved the request of SIA “RALLY LATVIA”, the organizer of the rallysprint “Latvija”, to change the date of the rallysprint, moving the competition a week later – planning the end of the Latvian rally season on October 31 – November 1, 2026.
