Turpina paplašināties Latvijas autoralliju sacensību kalendārs
Jau iepriekš izziņotajiem 2026. gada ziemas rallijiem Alūksnē un Gulbenē, pievienosies vēl pieci Latvijā sarīkoti autoralliji, izveidojot notikumiem bagātu un ģeogrāfiski plašu pašmāju sacensību kalendāru. Vasara iesāksies ar gaidītu rallija atgriešanos Liepājā un Dienvidkurzemē, kam sekos rallijsprinta posms Talsos. Pēc tam paredzētas sacensības otrpus Daugavai – debiju rallijsprinta statusā pieredzot sacensībām Cesvainē, kā arī notiekot Latvijas rallija čempionāta noslēdzošajam posmam Cēsīs. Tikmēr 2026. gada autoralliju sezonas noslēgums paredzēts Rīgā, Biķernieku trasē notiekot sacensībām “Latvija”. Tāpat, turpinot sadarbību ar Igaunijas autosporta asociāciju, Latvijas rallija čempionāta kalendārā iekļauts arī Veru apgabalā notiekošais rallijs “Lõuna-Eesti”.

Rallijs "Alūksne" sportistiem piedāvās garāku distanci un sen neveiktu ātrumposmu
Šī gada 22. maijā Latvijas Automobiļu federācijas Rallija komisijā tika apstiprinātas autoralliju sacensības, kuru norise plānota 2026. gada aukstākajā laikā. Nākamās sezonas sākumā paredzēti divi ziemas ralliji – jaunā sezona startēs 23.-24. janvārī, kad notiks rallijs ''Alūksne'', un turpināsies 7. februārī, Gulbenē, notiekot tradicionālajam ziemas rallijam ''Sarma''.

Transitional tyre rules for rally “Alūksne”
To all Latvian Rally Championship registered competitors, bear in mind the LAF Rally Commission and “MRF Tyres” have agreed that transitional rules will apply during the first round of the 2026 LRC season, i.e. rally “Alūksne” – the crews registered in the LRC will be able to compete and score championship points with both – previously acquired “Pirelli” tyres and newly purchased “MRF Tyres” tyres.

“MRF Tyres” becomes control tyre of Latvian Rally Championship
The Rally Commission of the Latvian Automobile Federation has agreed with tyre manufacturer “MRF Tyres” on a three-year cooperation – “MRF Tyres” will become the control tyre of the Latvian Rally Championship. The Latvian Championship will thus join the Australian, New Zealand and Indonesian rally championships, becoming a national championship supported by “MRF Tyres”. Within the framework of the cooperation, for the next three seasons – from 2026 till the end of 2028 – the crews registered for the Latvian Rally Championship will race with tyres manufactured by “MRF Tyres”, competing not only for championship points, but also for special prizes – brand new “MRF Tyres” rally tyres.

2026 Winter events of the Latvian Rally Championship announced
The Rally Commission of the Latvian Automobile Federation has approved the first two events scheduled to take place in the coldest period of 2026. Next year's season will begin with two winter rallies – the new season will start on January 23-24, when the rally "Alūksne" will take place, and is set to continue on February 7, when the traditional winter rally "Sarma" will take place in Gulbene.
