At the moment first snow is specially welcomed because here, Alūksne appanage, parishes of Alsviķi, Jaunalūksne, Maliena, Mārkalne and Ziemeri at 20th and 21th January, international ASRT rally "Alūksne 2012" will take place at.

The opening ceremony is set to happen at 20th January ,with a racing start from centre of Alūksne, which will be continued by opening party of 2012. rally season at club "Ideja".

Next day rally will be held in 9 special stages, with 92 km to drive in total. Spectators in Alūksne will have a chance to enjoy the romantic of winter rally night, but athletes - show their skills by driving in dark, because three of all special stages will be held in the night. The distance for rallysprint participants will be shorter and competitions will be held in six special stages.

Extra trill to the wrestle will be added by the provided prize of the supporter of "Alūksne 2012" - electric company PIRTEL (pirtel.lv) - 1000 EUR to fastest rally equipage among 2-wheels drive automobiles.

Rally "Alūksne 2012" is organized by cooperation of ,,Autosporta klubs Alūksne" association and Autostils, Autostils Rally Technica and Aluksne's county municipality.
