Also this year within the framework of the festival instructors and teachers of “SEB Leasing Safe Driving School” will actively give advice and information on safe, correct and economy driving to all those who are interested. Spectators will be able to test their skills at dexterity driving, use auto stimulators and take part in other offhand performances, e.g., test vision reaction ability and take part in various relays.

The Manager of SEB Leasing in Latvia Nellija Kočanova tells: “Speed and safety seem to be mutually incompatible notions. Speed gives excitement and adrenaline which during these days on specially developed tracks will be enjoyed by drivers who are specially trained and prepared for such drives. We, spectators, cheer for our speed favourites, however, we must not forget that off this track on the city streets there are other laws to protect ourselves and other traffic members from unnecessary surprises. This is why also this year “SEB Leasing” together with “Safe driving School” within the framework of the Speed Festival educates drivers on safe and at the same time economy driving by giving an opportunity to test their driving schools also at various dexterity driving tests. We invite participants of the festival to enjoy exciting moments at the Speed Festival, to test their driving skills and remember about safe driving when going home and on a daily-basis.”

“Safe driving School” has been operating since 2005. The activity of the school is mainly focused on safe driving lessons and mitigation of related risks as for businesses, as well as for any driver who wants to improve their driving skills. Since 2008 “SEB Leasing” every year implements an informative campaign “On Safe and Polite Traffic”. In cooperation with the “Safe Driving School” one has developed a training course “Traffic Flow Formation” to improve the overall traffic flow in Latvia, to teach drivers to plan their route and evaluate the situation on road.

Entrance cards to the Speed Festival “Rally Kreme 2012” are already available at “BezRindas.lv” and ticket offices of “Biļešuserviss.lv”. The price of one entrance card to all Speed Festival competitions – LVL 7, to particular speed stages or competitions – 3 last. Children under 14 years of age enjoy free entrance.
