Raul Jeets won the LRC ABS classification, while Edijs Bergmanis was fastest in LRČ1. Dmitry Feofanov / Normunds Kokins (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X) won the LRČ2 class, while Mārtiņš Sesks was quickest in the front-wheel drive LRČ3 class. Arvis Vecvagars / Gints Gaiķis (Renault Clio) were at the top of the standings of the front-wheel drive LRČ5 class.
Raul Jeets: “It was very slippery in the beginning. We made a few small mistakes, but everything went well overall. It was much of the same in the other stages as well – finding the correct racing line was very difficult. I expected this to be a bit easier, to be honest. In the afternoon, there was a lot of dust so it was difficult to see the road, but the stages were wider and we did better than in the morning.”

We would like to remind spectators that this year it will not be possible to buy tickets at the entrance of the special stages, so you should make sure to get them in advance at one of the Biļešu Serviss locations in Latvia or online. Also, before heading out to the stages, make sure to visit one of the ticket exchange points, where you can exchange your Biļešu Serviss bought ticket for a wristband. You will not be allowed to enter a stage without a Rally Liepāja wristband.
