This year Liepaja has confirmed its support to organizers of IRC stage in Kurzeme on February 2013 and, if this event will take place, it will involve part of this and other year’s rally “Kurzeme” stages. Thus this year’s rally “Kurzeme” can be a great chance to be introduced with the character of Kurzeme roads.

Start of the second rally day in Lithuanian resort Sventoja and new special stage in the territory of Lithuania will be novelty for rally drivers as well as for the spectators. We have succeeded in our seeking of new rally roads and more than 70% of stages are never used for the competition before.

For several years rally is not only rally, but it is a small Olympic Games of motorsports, named Speed Festival. In 2012 competition of rally and rally sprint will be supplemented with go-kart racing, dragrace championship in long 400m distance, rally super sprint competition for street cars and other events. At the same time in Liepaja beach World Championship of Formula windsurfing will take place.

These days we expect to see Liepaja full of sportsman, spectators, media representatives and with speed.
