Rally Talsi won by Estonians Jeets/Toom, Švedas/Sakalauskas take home the Champions cup
Rally Talsi, the Latvian and Lithuanian rally championship event, concluded today with a victory going to Estonians Raul Jeets / Andrus Toom. They managed to keep the lead gained in the first day, beating Russians Stanislav Travnikov / Alexey Bashmakov by a comfortable 21,86 seconds. Lithuanians Vytautas Švedas / Žilvinas Sakalauskas were third, 41,81 seconds behind Jeets/Toom, but were the fastest between in the race for the Champions cup.

Rally Talsi shakedown won by Estonians Plangi/ Sarapuu, Talsi locals Hermanis/ Veilands third
The Latvian and Lithuanian rally championship event Rally Talsi began 16th may with the 3,84 km long shakedown stage. Estonians Plangi/ Sarapuu won the stage by 0,66 seconds, beating Lithuanians Švedas/ Sakalauskas, who are taking part in the Champions rally. Spectators from Talsi were happy to see the success of local crew Hermanis/ Veilands, who took third place.

Kuwaiti Rally Champion 2014 Salah Bin Eidan Joins the Fight for the Champions’ Cup
An exotic application and addition to the fight for the Champions’ Challenge Cup has been received from the Estonian Rally Team MM-Motorsport that for the round of the Latvian and Lithuanian championships Rally Talsi has entered the Kuwaiti Rally Champion 2014 Salah Bin Eidan. The sportsman will participate in the Rally together with the Estonian co-driver Simo Koskinen, and they will start with the Ford Fiesta R5 car.
