Both approved events of the 2026 Latvian Rally Championship will also host a round of the Rallysprint Cup and Historic Rally Car Cup.
Considering the changing and unpredictable weather conditions, a reserve date has also been set for both events – for the rally "Alūksne" it will be February 20-21, while for the rally "Sarma" it will be February 14.

“Organizing a rally is a very time-consuming process, which is why organizing the next rally often begins the day after the previous competition ends. Therefore, announcing the next season’s calendar only at the end of the year has always been a burden for those organizers whose competitions are scheduled soon after the New Year’s Eve,” begins Raimonds Strokšs, Chairman of the LAF Rally Commission.
“I would like to express my gratitude to the Latvian rally organizers for their long-term contribution to strengthening the traditions of this motorsports discipline, and I am also thankful to the LAF Rally Commission for their forthcoming in approving and announcing a partial calendar of the 2026 Latvian Rally Championship in such a timely manner. I hope that this practice will become a standard and that in the future we will be able to announce the dates of the winter stages included in the Latvian Rally Championship calendar separately, before announcing the full annual calendar,” says Raimonds Strokšs.

The regulations for the new season of the Latvian Rally Championship, as well as the dates of all events included in the calendar, will be announced at the end of 2025.
