This year functions of support cars will be performed by Mitsubishi Lancer, Hyundai Santa Fe, Tuscon, ix35 and Hyundai i30cw which will help referees to monitor the competition and locate from one speed stage to another speed stage.

During the Speed Festival “Rally Kurzeme 2012” “Skandi Motors” will also present the new model of Mitsubishi Outlander. On the track of Liepāja Dairy Plant, on the parking place of the trade centre “Rietumu Centrs” spectators will have the opportunity to apply for test drives with the new Mitsubishi Outlander of 2013 which will appear at “Skandi Motors” showrooms only as of this September. Those who will register and enjoy the test drive till 31 October at “Skandi Motors” showrooms will have the possibility to win the new Mitsubishi Outlander for a week-end.

Besides, at “Skandi Motors” showrooms in Liepāja and Rīga the Speed Festival “Rally Kurzeme 2012” entrance cards are available at lower prices. Entrance card price - LVL 5. Children till 14 years of age enjoy free entrance.

The Speed Festival “Rally Kurzeme 2012” will take place from 23 till 26 August in Liepāja and its surroundings. Within the framework of the Speed Festival there will be as Rally, RallySprint and Super Sprint competitions, as well as DragRace and Carting drives. The first sports event will be the test speed stage for rally drivers – on 23 August, whereas the official opening is scheduled for Friday, 24 August.
