Grossi Toidukaubad Viru Rally, held on 13-14th of June, is this year a round of Estonian and Latvian rally championship. Like in previous years this rally offers lots of new aspects to spectators and drivers. Some things that are characteristic to Viru Rally remain the same, for example Rakvere City Super Special which is held on Friday.

Grossi Toidukaubad Viru Rally is known about the fact that gravel stages will include tarmac parts more then usual rallies in Baltics. Rally director Madis Halling confirms that every stage of Viru rally contains also a tarmac part. When we take the numbers, the picture will look like this: 11 stages with 112,4 kilometers and 26,2 % of it is on tarmac.

When route manager Imre Saks did recce for the stages he found some parts what were never used before for the rally. On Saturday the best place to watch the rally is like in previous years Kehala Ring. Spectators will have a good overview over the Kehala Ring and as many stages go through Kehala Ring this is the place to be.
