Transitional tyre rules for rally “Alūksne”

To all Latvian Rally Championship registered competitors, bear in mind the LAF Rally Commission and “MRF Tyres” have agreed that transitional rules will apply during the first round of the 2026 LRC season, i.e. rally “Alūksne” – the crews registered in the LRC will be able to compete and score championship points with both – previously acquired “Pirelli” tyres and newly purchased “MRF Tyres” tyres.

Thus, participation in the first round of the 2026 Latvian Rally Championship will be possible with such tyres:

● “MRF Tyres” manufactured “ZGi” series tyres of sizes 175/75R15 and 195/70R15 with 7mm studs;

● “Pirelli” manufactured “WJ” and “J1” series tyres of sizes 185/65R15 and 205/65R15 with 7mm studs.

Special offer

LRC registered crews participating in the first round of the 2026 season in Alūksne, will be provided with a special price – a 100-euro discount for up to six tyres, if those are used during rally “Alūksne”.
