Beyond Rally Sarma, the Baltic Sea Rally Championship 2024 promises a riveting series, including the Finnish Länsirannikon Ralli (May 24-25), the Estonian Paide Rally (August 23-24), and the Lithuanian Samsonas Rally Utena (September 26-28). Last year witnessed the participation of 152 rally crews from twelve countries, with Estonia clinching the Nations Cup, Latvia securing silver, and Finland claiming bronze.

Organized by "Gulbenes AUTO - MOTO," Rally Sarma 2024 features a meticulously designed route spanning less than two hundred and sixty kilometers with six challenging special stages, totaling over ninety kilometers. The compact format ensures an exciting event for participants and spectators alike. The rally festivities commence with opening ceremony on the eve of February 9 in centre of Gulbene at 18:00.

"We have reconfigured three apparently well-known special stages, and after listening to the wishes of the athletes, we have made them a little longer, so that the athletes can "run" in the special stages of the length typical to the large rallies, and better prepare for this summer's biggest event of the Latvian rally," reveals the rally director Jānis Sniedzāns.

With just a month to go until Rally Sarma 2024, official documents have been published on the Latvian Rally Championship website www.autorally.lv, and participant entries are now open.
