Kalle Rovanperä scores back-to-back victories at Rally Latvija
On Sunday, with five stages in Jūrmala, Tukums region, and Biķernieki circuit, the fourth round of the Latvian Rally Championship – Rally Latvija – concluded. For the second year in a row, the young Finnish driver Kalle Rovanperä was victorious, beating Latvians Jānis Vorobjovs and Jānis Berķis, who were, respectively, second and third.

Kalle Rovanperä leads Rally Latvija after sunny day one
On Saturday, Rally Latvija, the fourth round of the Latvian Rally Championship, began with a city stage in Jūrmala, tarmac stages in Biķernieki track, and gravel stages on Ropaži and Ogre region roads. Demonstrating consistently quick pace on both surfaces, the current leader is Finnish driver Kalle Rovanperä. Latvian rally driver Jānis Vorobjovs is second (44.83 seconds behind the leader), while Jānis Berķis is third, one minute and 10.11 seconds behind Rovanperä. Rally Latvija will conclude on Sunday with five more stages in Kauguri and Tukums regions, as well as the Biķernieki track.

Rally Latvija city stages to take place in Jūrmala
This weekend, on July 22 and 23, Rally Latvija, a round of the Latvian Rally Championship, is set to take place, with this event keeping its main difference from the rest of the championship in that eight of the twelve special stages will take place on tarmac roads in Jūrmala (Ķemeri and Kauguri), as well as the Biķernieki track in Rīga.

Rally Latvija spectator kits now available
Rally Latvija spectator kits, containing two passes to all the rally stages, car parking ticket for purpose made parking areas, as well as the spectator information leaflet with special stage maps, start times, descriptions of spectator areas and safety information, are available in various Hydroscand locations. The spectator kit price is 20.00 EUR if bought on or before July 21.

Reinis Nitišs to compete in Rally Latvija
FIA World Rallycross Championship driver, Jēkabpils native Reinis Nitišs, will compete in Rally Latvija, taking place on July 22-23 in Jūrmala, Tukums, and the Biķernieki track. He will be co-driven by Māris Neikšāns.

Rally Latvija to take place in July, host five motorsports disciplines
The 2017 Latvian Rally Championship round Rally Latvija has changed its usual autumn date and moved to the warmest month of the year, taking place on July 22 and 23. Rally Latvija has retained a varied set of racing disciplines, with the rally being part of not just the national, but international racing calendars as well. Drivers will be able to fight for victories in seven different championships.

Latvijā notiks divi FIA Baltic Rally Trophy posmi
2017. gada FIA Baltijas rallija trofejas (FIA Baltic Rally Trophy) izcīņas kalendārā iekļauti pieci posmi, no kuriem divi notiks Latvijā, vēl divi – Lietuvā, bet viens – Somijā. Pirmais no Latvijā paredzētajiem posmiem norisināsies 19. un 20. maijā Rally Talsi laikā, bet otrais – 22. un 23. jūlijā Rallijs Latvija ietvaros.
